Is anyone else feeling like Saturday Night Live might just be running dry on ways to use the show's cold open as a platform for dragging Donald Trump?

The latest reunites Trump (Alec Baldwin) with Rudy Giuliani (Kate McKinnon), Michael Cohen (Ben Stiller), and Donald Trump Jr. (Mikey Day) in a scene that evokes the final moments of The Sopranos. The random bearded man we all expected to whack Tony is replaced here by Robert Mueller (Robert De Niro).

And yes, the cut to black happens.

A few weeks ago we got Meet the Parents. Now it's The Sopranos. This isn't funny, it's just a familiar thing mashed together with another familiar thing.  Read more...
