You'd think if anyone had an obvious Royal Wedding joke lined up and ready to go, it'd be Billy "White Wedding" Idol.

Turns out what Idol had in mind was even better.

Like seemingly everyone else on Twitter, Idol logged on yesterday to share his thoughts about Harry and Meghan's nuptials. 

But what he didn't say was even more noticeable than what he did.

Looks like a lovely day in UK for Harry and Meghan’s wedding #royalwedding

Yup, the dude went with "lovely day" instead of "nice day," "Harry and Meghan's wedding" instead of "a white wedding." It's so close to his famous lyric, but not quite, and that not-quite-ness drove Twitter absolutely nuts. Read more...
