Shridhar Chillal — from Pune, India — has been growing his fingernails since 1952. But, over six decades later, he's decided to cut them. Prior to getting his nails cut, 82-year-old Chillal's fingernails measured a total of 909.6 cm (29 ft 10.1 in) — the world record for the longest ever fingernails on a single hand. The length of his fingernails actually equates to the same length as a London bus.
Per the Guinness World Records, Chillal started growing his nails at age 14 after a teacher told him off for breaking his long nail. Read more...
