RIP, Prime Day 2018. You were so popular that your site quite literally broke for a good portion of the first day, but did that stop all of us from spending way more than the limit we promised ourselves? Hell no.

Despite the massive 404 error glitch that forced people in 17 countries to see the dogs of Amazon (not complaining) instead of being able to view their cart or check out (yes, complaining), Amazon sold over 100 million items during the 36 hour period. Yup, that's a record-breaking number that beat out previous Prime Days, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.
