Microsoft might update all of its Surface devices on Oct. 2

The next few weeks are shaping up to be a gadget lover's dream.

Apple will announce new iPhones and Apple Watches on Sept. 12, Google will take the wraps off its Pixel 3 on Oct. 9, and now Microsoft is cooking something up for Oct. 2.

Joining its biggest rivals, Microsoft sent out press invites for a product event happening in New York City next month.

The invite doesn't provide much of a hint about what to expect. It simply says, "A moment of your time" in gigantic lettering. Microsoft smartwatch? Can't be... the Band 2 didn't exactly light the world on fire. Read more...
