Google knows when we need a smile and a hug from an old friend that feels warm and comfortable like an old cardigan, so they rolled out a wonderful Doodle on Friday honoring the famous Fred Rogers of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
The cute stop-motion-style animation is chock-full of references and homages to the classic children's show, from the aquarium to cameos by King Friday and other inhabitants of Rogers' wonderful world.
Friday marks the 51st anniversary of the debut of Rogers' legendary show on Pittsburgh's public television station WQED. Six months later, in February 1968, the show would hit national airwaves via PBS and ascend into television history. Read more...
