Donald Trump now refers to himself with a word he's "not supposed to use."

The U.S. president now refers to himself as a "nationalist," a term many have pointed out as historically problematic, and The Late Show's Stephen Colbert explained why that might not be the best of titles to give oneself.

"You know, they have a word, it sort of became old-fashioned, it's called a nationalist, and I say, really, we're not supposed to use that word. You know what I am? I'm a nationalist," Trump had said a rally in Houston on Monday night.

"You know why you're not supposed to use that word?" Colbert said during his monologue on Tuesday night. "Because it's the second half of 'white nationalists.' Chopping off the first word doesn't change what it means in our minds." Read more...
