You can see the new 'Transformers' prequel 'Bumblebee' way earlier than expected

Buckle up, Transformers fans. Looks like the Autobots and Decepticons are touching down much sooner than we anticipated. 

In a surprise Wednesday announcement, Paramount Pictures scheduled an absolute truckload of Bumblebee preview screenings for Dec. 8—nearly two weeks before the Dec. 21 nationwide release. 

The best part? These showings are all over the United States and Canada (not just in the typical entertainment hubs of New York and Los Angeles), and totally open to the public.
