Letters between lovers in wartime ... tragic and romantic, right? Well, not if you suck at it.

In "The War in Words," Claire Foy plays Margaret, a military spouse separated from her husband, James, who is deployed. James writes Margaret lovely, affectionate letters, but Margaret can't seem to write back anything substantial in return — including the details of her arrest, the identity of the strange new man in her life, and how she already knows the war is "World War I."
