Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh praise new Hollywood in brutally nice Golden Globes monologue

The 2019 Golden Globes kicked off Sunday night with our dream hosts, Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg.

Oh and Samberg joked that they were hosting because they're the only people in Hollywood who haven't said something offensive. They then proceeded to trash the "race" of the Hollywood Half-Marathon.

Instead of roasting the night's nominees ("Gervais-style"), Oh and Samberg dished out glowing compliments in derisive tones ("Michael B. Jordan?" "More like Michael B. Buff A.F. You a snack, Michael!").

Oh and Samberg all but stole the show at the 2018 Emmys, where they presented together and miraculously met for the first time. Their natural chemistry and almost-immediate Twitter reactions begging them to host something contributed to NBC snapping the two up for the Globes. Read more...
