Watch as 8 people crash their parachutes into a Florida swamp

If there's one lesson parachuters should keep in mind, it's always look before you leap.

This very Florida video, which captures the terrifying events of a New Year's Eve parachute party gone wrong, shows what happens if you don't.

The first half of the video follows Lane Paquin as he crashes his parachute — appropriately named the Valkyrie 79 — into a thick Florida swamp. After confirming to himself that he's OK, the video switches perspectives and shows each of his friends following suite — crashing into everything from trees, to swampy water, and even a dirt road.

Miraculously, all eight people walked away with only minor injuries, but the journey was definitely one wild ride.  Read more...
