RIP the Apple AirPower charging mat. But then again, was it ever really alive to begin with?

The internet asked that exact question of Apple after the company announced that their project for a highly-anticipated wireless charging mat would be canceled on Friday. This was a bit embarrassing, considering that Apple had already greenlit the AirPower for production and printed references to it on the packaging for AirPods. Yikes.

After pulling the equivalent of taking down a selfie minutes after posting it because it got zero likes, Twitter is responding to Apple saying "haha, jk, you thought."  Read more...
