There's a 'Lord of the Rings' Gollum game coming in 2021

Have you ever wanted to see life through the eyes of a covetous little gremlin creature? Daedalic Entertainment has you covered.

The German video game developer and publisher is bringing its storytelling gifts to J.R.R. Tolkien's world of Middle-earth. In The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, players will explore some of the journey Smeagol took after finding the One Ring, but before his encounter with Bilbo Baggins changed everything.

Like other story-driven adventure games in recent years, Gollum will be driven to some extent by the choices players make. Not in any way that changes the main character's core story (presumably!), but rather in a way that speaks directly to his dual identity. Read more...
