Welcome to the 'gram, CIA fam!

Ok, I'm sorry for that rhyme. But sometimes you've gotta roll out the welcome mat for your friendly shady government agency with a problematic legacy, right?

On Thursday, the CIA officially joined Instagram with the handle — wait for it — @CIA. This makes good on CIA director Gina Haspel's somewhat off-the-cuff announcement earlier in April that the agency had an account in the works. 

Haspel said at the time that maintaining an agency presence on social media was about increasing transparency — a difficult task for an agency dedicated to the collection of secrets. Read more...
