Gender reveal party gives dad-to-be a very unpleasant surprise

Far too often, gender reveal parties end with someone getting hurt.

And sure enough, on Saturday, a grandmother attended a gender reveal party for her future grandchild, only to witness the child's father suffer a cringeworthy injury. 

As you'll see in the video, which is cleverly titled "Gender Reveal May Be for Only Child," the father-to-be nails himself right in the groin when something goes a little haywire with the air cannon he's using. Ouch. 

At least he did still manage to let loose a shower of blue powder — which is more than the mom-to-be pulls off.
