Today is the day Britain is set to get a new prime minister.

On Tuesday, Boris Johnson was elected as the new leader of the Conservative party. Taking to the stage, he attempted to pump up the crowd with an unfortunate use of the word "dude" and some mumblings about not being daunted by the task ahead.

Stephen Colbert wasn't impressed. "He is the world's worst cheerleader," says the Late Show host in the clip above, before busting out his best British accent to mock Johnson's attempts at motivation.

"Three cheers for Great Britain!" says British Colbert. "Hip, hip... you look like you're thinking hooray, you really do." Read more...
