In case you missed it, plastic straws are getting the boot from restaurants across the country. Even Starbucks is swapping plastic straws for adult sippy cup lids in favor of saving the ocean.
Other restaurants, bars, and coffee shops have turned to paper straws, more commonly referred to as paper monstrosities that fall apart after a few sips.
We get it: plastic trash is out of control and this is a small way to make an impact. But there's definitely a better alternative than paper straws.
