Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek announced on Tuesday that he will resume chemotherapy.

After revealing in March he had been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, Trebek gave viewers a positive update in April, saying he was "feeling good" and added he was looking forward to returning for more Jeopardy! in September. In May, People reported Trebek was in "near remission."

But as Trebek noted in his latest update on Tuesday via the show's YouTube channel, there are many "curves and unexpected events" that come up when undergoing cancer treatment. 

"This past summer, because I was making such good progress, we thought I was finished with chemo," Trebek said in the video. Sadly, he hit a few bumps in the road after starting immunotherapy. He continued, "The doctors are now reexamining my situation, and it appears I will be having more chemo treatments ahead of me." Read more...
