Outside an annual gala held by the conservative Federalist Society in which Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh spoke, protesters erected a huge screen that played a video of Christine Blasey Ford's testimony during Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing. 

In 2018, Blasey Ford, a California psychology professor, accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her in 1982. Kavanaugh denied the allegations, and went on to get confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice. 

Kavanaugh's appearance at the Federalist Society marked his first major public speech since his controversial confirmation last year, according to Time.  Read more...
