Not since all the operatic, dog-fuelled action of John Wick Chapter 3 have I needed to watch a trailer again and again and again.
Warner Brosdropped the official trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 on Sunday, the long-awaited sequel to the Gal Gadot-starring superhero smash, and there is a lot going on.
The film will take place in the '80s, during which our Amazonian hero Wonder Woman (Gadot) will face off against Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) during the Cold War. But the trailer doesn't really show much of that, instead beginning with a nice wine pal chat between the two. What it does show, however, is a metric fuck-ton of shopping centre lasso action that I can't begin to stop watching. Read more...
