Greta Thunberg had a stark warning for world leaders as she delivered remarks while speaking on a panel of young environmentalists at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Sitting on a panel about youth activism on Tuesday, the 17-year-old climate activist urged politicians and the media to listen to scientists' warnings about global heating, warning that we're rapidly running out of time to keep the increase in global temperature below 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit).
Thunberg cited the 2018 SR15 IPCC report which concluded that limiting Earth's warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius would need "rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society." Read more...
