Maybe it's the fact that you're quickly running out of shows. Maybe it's the fact that Mario Kart and a drinking game on FaceTime is the closest thing we all have to a happy hour with friends right now.

Or maybe it's the fact that a new version of Animal Crossing, the most comforting game of all time, was conveniently released (not even planned) in the midst of a global pandemic. It's much easier to think about how much money you owe Tom Nook than the state of our actual economy.
