Conan O'Brien reports from an empty street to show you how empty it is. Empty, right?

With California on lockdown to quell the spread of the coronavirus, Conan O'Brien has seen a lot of reporters covering the empty streets by dramatically walking down them.

So, while making the show without an audience and from home, he thought he'd take a moment to do the same. Dramatically whipping off his sunglasses, primetime field reporter-style, Conan found himself an empty street to make the point.

"A big thing for reporters to do in the news right now is find an empty area and walk around and say, 'Look how empty it is!'" he says pointing out increased use of reported phrases like "it's eerily quiet." Read more...
