Monday night marked the five-year anniversary of James Corden's first ever Late Late Show. As the host explains in the video above, they had big plans for the episode — but given the social distancing measures in place to stop the spread of COVID-19, all that's changed.
"Our thoughts go out to all of you, wherever you are," says Corden, filming himself from his house. "This is the strangest, strangest time, and all we've ever wanted to do on our show is bring you some light in the dark, in the corner of your room every night.
"And we're going to do our best at some point to continue trying to do that. Thank you, for this last five years, for letting me talk to you every night. I never expected it to be quite the journey that it's been." Read more...
