
The King Of Staten Island, one of many movies premiering on demand instead of in theaters as originally planned, is all about Pete Davidson. Some details have been changed — Davidson's firefighter father died on 9/11, not in a house fire, and his character Scott dreams of being a tattoo artist, not a comedian. But the Judd Apatow-directed film is very directly inspired by his life, especially the brutal, lingering toll grief can take on a family.
