This 70-step Rube Goldberg basketball trick shot is hilariously complicated

About halfway through this 3-minute, 19-second trick shot, I thought the end simply had to be coming soon. And yet, there was so, so much further to go. 

Popular YouTube account Creezy created a truly impressive Rube Goldberg machine that ultimately ends with a basketball going into a hoop. Simple enough, right? Nope. 

The 70 steps it takes to get to the swish are incredible, involving everything from a rolling bike tire, to a model train, to a marble zipping down a track running over a babbling brook.

Seriously, there's so much going on here it's nearly impossible to describe. It feels like the ultimate quarantine project — what you do when you have nothing but free time. Read more...
