See Hummer EV do its CrabWalk move on video

GMC's new Hummer EV is a beast in many ways — it's got 1,000HP and it has three electric motors that take it from 0-60mph in about three seconds. 

But one of the weirdest — and coolest — new features the vehicle comes with is called CrabWalk. In CrabWalk mode, the Hummer EV can rotate all four wheels at the same angle by up to 10 degrees, and move diagonally. Yes, like a crab (though the diagonal movement is more reminiscent of a bishop in chess).

A month ago, GMC posted a teaser video of the feature in action, but it was only enough to catch a glimpse of what it looks like. Now, there are several new videos that show the Hummer EV in CrabWalk mode, and it's no spoiler to tell you that it's cool as ice.  Read more...
