
We knew this year's Black Friday TV deals would be good when Best Buy devoted 10 pages of its ad scan — including the entire first page — to TVs.
The battle of the cheapest TV will always be a marker of Black Friday. One of Walmart's biggest prizes this year is a 55-inch 4K Roku TV for $148, which adds an extra five inches of screen for the same price as last year's big 50-inch TV deal.
But mid-size TVs aren't the only ones becoming more accessible. Perfectly in line with a prediction from Consumer Reports at the end of 2019, Black Friday 2020 brings an influx of affordable 65-inch, 75-inch, and sometimes over 80-inch TVs on sale for even less. People are growing out of their mid-sized TVs and looking to upgrade to something bigger and better. On the other end, factories have been optimized to make larger LCD sheets. When something becomes easy for the manufacturer to make, it gets cheaper. Finding a 65-inch 4K TV for less than $500 is weirdly common.
