Donald Trump may currently have the power to pardon people for federal crimes (or, as Trevor Noah puts it, "a cheat code for America's justice system"), but he won't for much longer. So the question is, who will he try and pardon before he gets booted out of the White House on Jan. 20?
Following reports that the president may be considering pardons for family members, his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and even himself, Daily Show host Trevor Noah had some thoughts.
"That is adorable," says Noah, flashing up some pics of the Trump children alongside a yelling Giuliani. "Trump is pardoning his kids and his house pets. And he's not even pardoning them for anything specific! Trump is just handing out pardons like they're gift cardsI figured I'd let you pick your own crime.
