Kia reveals new details for its EV6 electric car with 315-mile range — except for the price

Kia has officially unveiled its first electric vehicle that doesn't have a gasoline or hybrid counterpart. 

The first images of the upcoming EV6 were released earlier this month, but now we know more details about the car that's shaped like a small, compact SUV.

The EV6 has three configurations with its standard EV6, and the GT and GT-line variations. The new EV establishes Kia's stance on electrification. Its new long-range battery goes more than 315 miles on a single charge. That's enough range to go from Los Angeles to Las Vegas or Paris to Amsterdam.
