Wario took the stand in a 'Saturday Night Live' courtroom and yup, it was Elon Musk

Mario Mario, of Super Mario Bros. fame, is dead! And wouldn't you know it, Wario is a chief suspect.

Saturday Night Live cast host Elon Musk as the "evil and greedy" version of Nintendo's beloved mascot, sending him to court as a trial attempts to get to the bottom of Mario's untimely death. But it's not long before everything turns around, and another revered figure from the Mushroom Kingdom becomes the top suspect.

This is a weird and hilarious SNL sketch, made all the more bizarre by the unexpected (and perfect) appearance of Claire Boucher aka Grimes, Musk's romantic partner and co-parent, as Princess Peach.
