Shudder's 'The Strings' trailer is a haunting nightmare that'll put you on edge

Sometimes an effective trailer doesn't even need words to make its impact.

That's certainly the case with Shudder's silent tease for Ryan Glover's The Strings, which sees weird things happening to a musician after she goes to a remote cottage to work on some new material.

Extra points for that haunting musical score, and the silent presence of a lone figure who seems to keep getting closer and closer.

The Strings lands on Shudder Nov. 23.
