Best Buy has been having multiple Black Friday sales events throughout the holiday shopping season, all ahead of the official Black Friday sale, which kicked off a week early on Nov. 19. (Deep breaths.) Now, as of Sunday, Nov. 28, the Cyber Monday sale has indeed already arrived.
All deals prior to Nov. 26 were covered by the "Black Friday Price Guarantee" that Best Buy's discounts wouldn't get any better before the big day. (If a better price did crop up for some reason, Best Buy automatically refunded the difference for My Best Buy and Best Buy Totaltech members; non-members got reimbursed by visiting their local store or contacting its customer care team about a price match.)
How long will Cyber Monday savings last at Best Buy?
Just like their Black Friday sale, Best Buy started their Cyber Monday early on Nov. 28, but these savings will only last through Monday, Nov. 29. So if there's anything you've been waiting to grab on sale, now is your last chance before the prices head back up. If you prefer check out your tech and home goods in-person before buying, many of the sales available online will also be available in stores.
Of course, Best Buy's Black Friday deals have been live for a week prior to the shopping holiday. Best Buy says its decision to basically rewrite the October and November calendars is meant to "help [customers] get the goods early." Our take? It's to get a jump on what's expected to be a huge holiday shopping season, but mostly an attempt to avoid those supply chain disruptions affecting everything from computer chips to chicken wings.
This week's sale features hundreds of markdowns on "the season's hottest tech," including $150 off a 70-inch Samsung 4K smart TV, $150 off the matte black Beats Studio3 headphones, and Chromebooks as cheap as $102.
We've rounded up some of the highlights below:
Apple TV 4K 32GB — $119.99 (save $40)
Let's be real: Smart TV hubs aren't the most intuitive or the most user-friendly. Access all your streaming apps and sites on one aesthetically pleasing interface with an Apple TV. It'll give you a 4K HDR picture boost, Dolby Atmos fueled sound, AirPlay mirroring, and Siri voice control for hands-free streaming.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A — $99.99 (save $50)
Need a new tablet that isn't an iPad? Try the Samsung Galaxy Tab A. It has an eight-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, 32GB of storage (with a microSD slot if you need more space), dual cameras, a quad-core processor, and the Android OS that so many know and love.
AeroGarden Harvest — $89.99 (save $60)
The AeroGarden Harvest not only ensures that you'll have a healthy supply of fresh herbs year-round in the comfort of your own home, but is also super simple to use for gardening veterans and newbies alike. The Harvest can grow up to six plants at a time up to 12 inches tall, and it comes with a gourmet herb seed kit to get you started.
Shark EZ Bagless Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum — $299.99 (save $250)
Don't let limited floor space deter you from the convenience of a self-emptying robot vacuum. The auto-empty dock on the Shark EZ vacuum is one of the most compact we've seen, but it can still hold up to a month's worth of debris.
DJI FPV Drone bundle — $999.99 (save $80)
Normally over $1,000, the DJI drone bundle is great for passionate filmmakers and flyers alike. Not only is the drone itself equipped with 4K, 60fps support, and effortless flying — it also comes paired with multiple propeller replacements, everything you need for keeping it charged, and DJI's FPV Drone goggles, which give you an immersive view of exactly what your drone sees as it flies through the air in real time.
Returnal — $49.99 (save $20)
One of the most anticipated releases of 2021 was also one of the most praised. The cosmic horror time loop game Returnal combines intense action gameplay with a sense of mystery and discovery that'll have players engaged throughout its single-player story. In short: If you're lucky enough to own a PlayStation 5, Returnal needs to be in your library.
GE Profile nugget ice machine — $499.99 (save $80)
Drinks are just better with nugget ice (also known as "the good ice"), and that's a fact. It's like having a Sonic drive-thru at your fingertips. This nugget ice machine from GE can supply you with three pounds of that cold, crunchy goodness at a time.
Jabra Elite 85t wireless headphones — $149.99 (save $80)
Whether you're anti-AirPod or need a new pair of gym earbuds, the Jabra Elite 85t are a great option. Packed with adjustable active noise-cancelation, a 25-hour battery life, sweat and water resistance, and plenty more, they're a nice value for the money in a world that's oversaturated with headphone possibilities.
Airpods Max — $479 (save $70)
If you'd like to upgrade your audio setup, these headphones, though a bit bulky, boast some impressive quality and active noise cancellation. While they might not be the best over-the-ear headphones out there by far, at this price point, they could very well please Apple devotees.
TCL 55-inch 6-Series Mini-LED 4K smart TV — $699.99 (save $250)
This beautifully bright TV features Mini-LED backlighting for deep blacks and intense contrast. (That's the same snazzy technology Apple's baked into the latest 12.9-inch iPad Pro, FYI.)
Google Nest Mini (second generation) — $24.99 (save $25)
With this Nest Mini that's half off, the price to make your home smart has never been more affordable. A simple "Hey Google" is all it takes to play your favorite music, check the weather, set timers, hear your schedule, or control your other smart home devices. As an added bonus, you'll also get three months of YouTube Premium alongside this mini smart device.
Keurig K Supreme — $99.99 (save $50)
Revamp your daily at-home brews with the Keurig K Supreme. It's the first Keurig series to brew with MultiStream Technology, a technique that more evenly saturates coffee grounds to extract fuller flavors. It comes with a water reservoir but is still nice and compact.
Dyson Outsize — $699.99 (save $100)
The Dyson Outsize series is unofficially the V11, if we're regarding it as the next-best Dyson after the V10. Dyson's bulkiest, most powerful stick vacuum shells out 220 Air Watts of suction power, 120 minutes of runtime, and holds half a gallon worth of debris. (As of the day before Cyber Monday, Best Buy has raised its prices ever so slightly. The Outsize was $200 off for Black Friday, which we hope to see make a return.)
Bose QuietComfort noise canceling earbuds — $199 (save $80)
There's nothing quite like in-ear noise cancellation, and these Bose earbuds take the cake in that department. With microphones inside and outside the buds, you'l get active noise canceling that automatically adjusts to your environment. Tune out the train, your noisy neighbor, or annoying ambient noise so you can turn up the actual tunes.
Apple 21.5 iMac with Retina 4K display (Intel Core i5 (3.0GHz), 8GB Memory, 256GB SSD) — $1,199.99 (save $300)
We love to see an iMac discount, and this Best Buy deal is a hefty one. You'll get a 2019 Mac with powerful processing, quick SSD, speedy graphics, and a brilliant picture. As an added bonus, new subscribers will score six months of Apple Music and Apple News+ for free, plus three months of Apple TV Plus.
When will Best Buy be open on Black Friday?
Though Best Buy was closed on Thanksgiving, folks were still able to shop in stores on Black Friday. Stores opened at 5 a.m. local time on Black Friday. Though Cyber Monday started as an online thing, many of Best Buy's Cyber Monday deals will be available in stores as well as online.
On Black Friday and every day, face coverings (available in stores) are recommended for all customers and required for all employees, who are abiding by enhanced safety procedures such as daily wellness checks and regular cleaning of high-touch areas. Curbside and in-store pickup are available.
