Rolls-Royce’s electric plane, the Spirit of Innovation, set two new world records for speed, reaching a maximum speed of 555.9 km/h over three kilometers and 532.1 km/h over 15 kilometers above a test site in Wiltshire, England.

The success of the test flight marks an important milestone in the transition to electric transportation.
