Itching to try Google's Bard AI chatbot? As of today, Google is removing the waitlist for Bard — once called "cringeworthy" by its own employees — and opening it up to over 180 countries and territories.

The tool will also be available in Japanese and Korean, expanding beyond English. And Google promises it's on track to support 40 more languages in the future. Google Bard is a chatbot powered by Google's PaLM 2 large language model. On Wednesday, Google announced during I/0 2023 that Bard is adding app integration to maximize its utility and collaborative potential.

This comes months after a troubled launch of the AI chatbot, which Google employees questioned heavily in the wake of its launch.
