Co-writer/director Sean Anders' Spirited presents a timeless holiday favorite, A Christmas Carol —  but this time with an unforgettable twist.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, and Octavia Spencer, the trailer promises lots of laughs, exhilarating musical numbers, and much-needed comfort.

The musical comedy follows the Ghost of Christmas Present (Ferrell) as he picks his "Scrooge" for the year’s soul-stirring Christmas Eve visit.

The fresh spin on the original Charles Dickens tale is that this particular Scrooge, Clint Briggs (Reynolds), is like none before. With a bit of Deadpool bravado, he turns the tables on Present, revisiting the holiday spirit's past, present, and future. Sounds like the kind of reminiscing that could mean fresh fun.

Spirited premiers in theaters Nov. 11 and globally on Apple TV+ on Nov. 18.
